The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) represents over 220 banks and professionals of the financial sector, promoting the sustainable development of regulated, innovative, and responsible banking services in Luxembourg.


  • Monitor and share knowledge on technological and regulatory topics related to payments and digital finance
  • Coordinate ABBL working groups related to payments and digital topics
  • Coordinate projects with the support of ABBL members (surveys, market studies, …)
  • Support in preparing payment guidelines for the Luxembourg market
  • Review legislative texts and propose amendments in collaboration with ABBL members (ex: DORA, NIS, PSD2 review, Instant Payments…)
  • Represent ABBL in European (EPC, EBF) and national working groups


  • A passion for digital, payments, technologies
  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in legal affairs, finance or other relevant fields
  • Comprehension of European regulations in payments and digital areas
  • Knowledge of payment schemes
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluent in English (must) and French (desirable)
  • Proactive, curious, quick learner able to work autonomously and as part of a team
