The ABBL
The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) represents over 220 banks and professionals of the financial sector, promoting the sustainable development of regulated, innovative, and responsible banking services in Luxembourg
Your tasks
- Facilitate and coordinate ABBL working groups related to payments, cybersecurity and related topics
- Coordinate projects with the support of members (surveys, market studies, communication campaigns, …)
- Draft technical payment guidelines for the Luxembourg market
- Review legislative texts and propose amendments (ex: DORA, NIS, PSD2 review)
- Represent ABBL in European (EPC, EBF) and local working groups
- Organize internal and external meetings, events, webinars
- Draft articles and newsletters
- Participate in the day-to-day tasks of the team
Your profile
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in legal affairs, finance, IT sciences or other relevant fields. An Information Security certification is considered an advantage
- Solid knowledge of Cybersecurity issues for the financial sector (attacks, security and risk standards and control strategies), SEPA payment schemes/rulebooks (SCT, SCT Inst and SDD), card & mobile payments, request-to-pay, SWIFT MT
- Good comprehension of European regulations in payments and cybersecurity
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication
- Fluent in English (must) and French
- Proactive, curious, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
