Marilyn Rinck joined the ABBL in October 2021 as Financial Markets Adviser, where she will support members by contributing to technical work in relation to the depositary and custody banking industry in Luxembourg.
The shape of financial regulation has become more complex and interconnected across the financial industry, and the rapid pace of technical development that the companies have to deal with is enormous. The purpose of financial regulation is to maintain the efficiency and transparency of markets and to ensure fair treatment of customers.
Biography
With 20 years of experience in the financial sector, in depositary and private banking as well as in the insurance sector, Marilyn has developed a strong expertise as a process assessor and implementation specialist. She has been actively involved in all major regulatory changes over the last decade, and has been responsible for the implementation and supervision of the European regulations PRIIPS, MIFID II, IDD, EMIR, SFDR.
Marilyn is a certified banker, she obtained her diploma in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Deutsche Bundesbank.
