Why did you decide to join the ABBL?
Thomas Collin, Sustainability Officer at the ABBL
Thomas Collin joined the ABBL in April 2021 as an intern in the Sustainability & Conduct team. After successfully completing his Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Economics, Thomas decided to join the ABBL as Sustainability Officer since October 2021, and to continue his work on topics related to corporate social responsibility, diversity and sustainable finance.
During my studies, I had chosen to specialise in Sustainable Finance. This allowed me to understand how and to what extent the financial sector is essential to support the transition towards a sustainable economy. I therefore decided to do my internship at the ABBL, which gave me the opportunity to see first-hand the challenges and opportunities surrounding sustainable finance. This ultimately convinced me more deeply that this would be my future career path.
